Flat Panel Display modular robotic treatment using human-robot cooperation and artificial intelligence
The first module of the system leverages computer vision and artificial intelligence to remove the screws from the external case of the monitor. The robot is able to identify and locate screws of any size, color, or shape, on any model of screen even if it’s the first time it processes it.
The module dedicated to frame removal is composed by an industrial robot, picking the screen and placing it on the machine which performs the actual removal of the frame. Once the frame has been dislodged, it only takes the operator a few seconds to take the external case away.
The last module of the robotic line is devoted to removing the screws internal to the monitor. This process frees the printed circuits and all other components, making the final work of separating each material much easier and faster for the operator.
