PLC Programmer

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Collaborate closely with roboticists, business developers, and project managers.
  • Design and specify electrical components for custom automated industrial machines
  • Travel to customer sites for design reviews, research, installation, and troubleshooting
  • Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides for newly established automated equipment/processes
  • Implement, test, debug and maintain automation software and solutions.

 

REQUIRED

  • Proved experience in the field of industrial automation and robotics.
  • Deep knowledge of Tia Portal/WinCC software and Siemens ecosystem in general
  • knowledge of HMI Design and SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of electronics and electrical design
  • Ability to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Must have valid driving license.

 

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with other PLC brands (Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc)
  • Experience with programming industrial and/or collaborative robots.
